Who We Are
The Institute of Research for Social Justice in Action (IRSJA) is a nonprofit organization with a clear focus on addressing systemic injustices through community-driven research, advocacy, and education. IRSJA’s goal is to empower marginalized communities by providing tools for advocacy, leadership development, trauma-informed care, and sustainable economic programs. This business plan outlines IRSJA’s primary programs and the strategies for sustaining and scaling these initiatives. It also includes new programs like the I Love Me More Program, a Small Nonprofit Sustainability Fund, and a Capacity Building Program.
We envision a future where those most affected by injustice lead the charge for systemic reform. Our mission is to equip marginalized communities with tools, knowledge, and support, fostering grassroots leaders who advocate for social justice, economic empowerment, and public health equity.
